Best Of The West
This tour takes you across the greatest of Western America, stopping in four states and numerous parks. You can hike Yosemite’s paths to see massive glacier-carved granite walls. You’ll stop to see the world’s largest trees before heading to Mammoth.
Walkers should bring walking sticks with them to help with steep ascents and descents, especially if they have a history of back or knee issues. The touring portion of the vacation is fast-paced, with some long drives. The vehicle, on the other hand, will be air-conditioned and somewhat comfortable, and the view will be spectacular.
To get the most out of the trip, it is well worth the time to prepare physically and mentally for the journey. For at least three months previous to your departure, we recommend that you engage in regular activity such as power walking, swimming, or cycling three times per week. It’s also a good idea to go for some day walks around your home in hilly places to prepare yourself.
