A free guide to touring Dalton's historic West Hill Cemetery, featuring 25 of its most notable characters, is available at the Dalton Visitors Center.
The cemetery also is the final resting place of 421 Confederate soldiers and 4 unknown Union solders who died from battles in and around Dalton during the Civil War. The the recently restored 1941 West Hill Chapel is also in the cemetery.
