Pig Jig
Vienna and Dooly County’s Pig Jig, held every November in a specially-constructed “Barbecue Village” along I-75 began in 1982 and has grown bigger and more varied every year since into a festival named twice by the American Bus Association as one of the Top 100 Events in America. It is the state’s oldest, and Georgia’s “Official” barbecue cooking contest.
