Based on St. Simons Island, SouthEast Adventure Outfitters has helped tens of thousands of people explore the Golden Isles of Georgia since 1994.
SouthEast Adventure Outfitters offers a number of 2-to-4 hour kayak trips as well as day trips on the Altamaha and Satilla rivers and the beaches of Little Saint Simons. There also are a number of multi-day kayak trips to such places as Sapelo and Blackbeard islands, Cumberland Island, and the Altamaha River. Multi-day trips include guides, kayaks and equipment, meals, permits, transportation where applicable, and camping gear.
SouthEast Adventure Outfitters has power boat sunset or sightseeing nature trips from which to choose, including one on Capt. Gabby, a refurbished shrimp boat. Or if you would rather be fishing, SouthEast Adventure Outfitters offers kayak and power boat fishing charters.
SouthEast Adventure Outfitters' St. Simons Island Store handles all kayak tours information and offers a wide selection of maps and outdoor and kayaking gear and equipment. The outfitters' Brunswick Boathouse Location at 1200 Glynn Avenue is a launching point for a marsh tour and demos and sells new and used kayaks and canoes. Another outpost, Village Creek Landing, north of the Sea Island Causeway, is the launching point for a number of boating activities, including kayaking, kayak fishing, fishing charters, birding and nature tours, and sunset cruises.
