Revered as one of the most ecologically diverse river basins in the Southeast, the Flint River is also at risk from pollution; absorbing stormwater, agricultural and industrial runoff as it flows south out of the heart of Atlanta. As part of the Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint (ACF) river system, the Flint is entangled in the "tri-state water war," in which Georgia, Florida and Alabama are struggling to determine water usage rights as Atlanta continues to grow beyond its resources. The Flint Riverkeeper's sole purpose is to serve as a steward for this valued waterway and to ensure the future life and health of the river and its tributaries remains certain during these uncertain times.

I am the Aquatics Director at Gerald I. Lawhorn Scouting Base in Molena, Ga. I am looking for a good DETAILED map of the Flint River for our float trips. Do you know where I can find one? I need one to cover the area from Flat Shoals near Gay to the Hwy. 36 Bridge (more if I can get one!), but especially from the Hwy 18 bridge to Sprewell Bluff. I can find all kinds of cutesy ones, but I need something very detailed! Thank you!!
