With 153 miles of free-flowing water, the Flint River is one of only 42 free-flowing river reaches longer than 125 miles remaining in the contiguous 48 states. After the Flint River merges with the Chattahoochee River to form Lake Seminole, it becomes the Apalachicola and flows to the Gulf of Mexico.

Map Pin: The pin on the map above is placed in Warwick at the Crisp County Power Dam, the first dam on the Flint River.
