Chattahoochee Bend State Park | Newnan, Georgia

Wilderness and seven miles of Chattahoochee River frontage is the big draw for this huge new state park just west of Newnan. The 2,910-acre park has a boat ramp, 6 miles of hiking trails, an observation platform, 2 picnic shelters and a playground.
Most of the park has been left in its natural state, but there are RV, tent, and riverside platform campsites as well as 4 screened, Adirondack-style camping shelters.
Canoeists and kayakers can access the river easily, but there are not equipment rentals on site.
