Lake Rabun Hotel is a unique small Georgia hotel in Lakemont, a few miles south of Clayton, GA, in Georgia’s Blue Ridge Mountains.
Originally built in 1922, Lake Rabun Hotel was entirely renovated by owner Gwen North who bought the unique small hotel on Lake Rabun in Lakemont, GA, in 2007. The roof was raised and a third floor added. The interior was redone completely while still maintaining its wood and stone mountain charm. The centerpiece of the lobby is the original stone fireplace with its impressive granite arch.
The hotel has beautiful views of Lake Rabun for which it was named.
Lake Rabun features a fine restaurant with outdoor dining available.
