The Beaver House Restaurant is one of  Statesboro's favorite restaurants.  When it opened 20 years ago there were few restaurants in this South Central Georgia city. The diner's choice of where to eat were few and far between.  Now there are over 150 Restaurants in Statesboro and more coming all the time, but the Beaver House is still going strong.

The Beaver House offers a unique restaurant experience. The family style restaurant was modeled after the Mrs. Wilkes restaurant in Savannah and is actually one of the few remaining boarding house style restaurants in the state. The Beaver House is definitely more of a restaurant than a boarding house or a bed and breakfast. The restaurant serves two meals per day in downtown Statesboro. It is on the national register of historic places and a popular tourist attraction in this South Central Georgia city.
